Grants Manager

The Prince’s Regeneration Trust is looking for an experienced Grants Manager to play a key role in its future delivery of projects. The Trust works with communities throughout the United Kingdom to ensure that important buildings at risk of demolition or decay are preserved, regenerated and re-used. Reporting to the Finance Director, the role will also work closely with the Operations Director and Development Manager.

We are a small but busy and dynamic team who are undertaking several major projects which have grant funding. You will be responsible for making all the grant claims for these projects, which due to the interaction of the various funders can be complex. You will also contribute to new grant applications for these and other projects. You will need to liaise with funders, suppliers, auditors and other stakeholders regarding grant claims and you will report back to statutory funders and private donors on projects where restricted funds have been received.

You will need to have experience of making public sector grant claims and applications and an understanding of state-aid issues associated with such grants. You should have excellent attention to detail and a flexible, enthusiastic attitude. You should be process oriented and educated to degree level.

This is a key job which will be pivotal in ensuring we successfully complete our major projects. You will be an integral part of the organisation, working closely with all members of staff.

This is a full-time (37.5 hrs/ week) permanent position, based at our office (14 Buckingham Palace Road, London, SW1W 0QP). Benefits include pension and 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays.

Salary: c£40,000

Finance, IT and Administration Assistant
Closing date: Monday 6th February 2012

The Prince’s Regeneration Trust is looking for an enthusiastic and organised administrator to support our Finance Director and Office Manger and to contribute to the work of the organisation. The Trust works with communities throughout the United Kingdom to ensure that important buildings at risk of demolition or decay are preserved, regenerated and re-used.

We are a small but busy and dynamic team, and the role will be varied with many facets: You will be spending approx 50% of your time working with the Finance Director on finance processing, and the other 50% of the time supporting the Office Manager and other members of the team on IT and admin matters (please see the full job description for more details).

You will need to have finance-processing and office administration experience, excellent attention to detail and a flexible, enthusiastic attitude. You should feel comfortable dealing with various databases and accounting software. A degree or other qualification in a relevant area would be an advantage but is not essential.

This is an ideal job for someone who takes pride in their accuracy and professionalism, and who is looking to apply their finance experience in a broader and more varied role. You will be an integral part of the organisation, working closely with all members of staff.

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000
